Solution Architect for Material Master Data, reporting to the Platform Architect, you will play a key role in delivering business value through the SAP MDG Material implementation and execution roadmap.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experienced in SAP MDG implementation on Material master and Finance master data.
- Experience in MDG customizations over and above standard offerings, Custom Model creations, UI Enhancements, Context-based Adaptions, Workflow configuration, ABAP, BRF+, DIF, DRF APIs and Methods extensibility.
- Extensively worked on Web Services/SOA manager configuration for search, retrieve, and replicate scenarios.
- Design and implement data replication processes between SAP MDG and other non-SAP systems, experience in data replication using SAP Data Integration Suite.
- Setting up baseline configurations, in-depth knowledge of S4 HANA material master, Key mapping, and Value mapping.
- Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP MDG solutions.
- Integration of MDG with Fiori.
- Experience in Data migration to and from MDG, Consolidation, Data Validations & Derivations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP MDG issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions and support code review, integration & user acceptance testing.
- Stay current with SAP MDG best practices, new functionalities, and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of hands‐on experience as an SAP MDG Technical Developer.
- Strong ABAP development skills, including experience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and BADIs/User Exits.
- Solid understanding of SAP MDG data modelling concepts and configuration.
- Experience in SAP S/4AHANA configurations and customizations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
- Good proficiency in English as a day‐to‐day business language is a must.
