In this role you will manage and create excellent integrated communication that drives strategy belief and enhanced reputation. Play a key role in the Group Communications function, acting as a strategic business partner that supports positive conditions for growth:
- Building Coca-Cola HBC’s reputation as the leading 24/7 beverage partner and a leader in sustainability.
- Bringing the voice of our leaders to life to support strategic belief.

- Protecting the reputation of our business through robust issues management and crisis communication.
OUR GROUP COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - LEADERSHIP AND PRESS OFFICE COMMS, FOCUSES ON:
- Company Narrative: Being the owner of central company narrative, coordinating across the Group Communication Team, internal stakeholders and BU teams to maintain and cascade up-to-date messages. Creating compelling narratives and visual/video content to connect hearts and minds to our company strategy and vision.
- Central Press Office: Supporting the day-to-day management of the central press office, building relationships with key media, especially trade publications. Collaborating closely with our Investor Relations team, support the delivery of the quarterly financial results, developing all visual and written assets, supporting the set up of the Reuters interview, issue the press release and develop regular media summaries. Managing media monitoring and evaluation to include weekly news dashboards and quarterly media reports, tracking share of voice and sentiment against agreed KBIs. Supporting the internal and external communication of mergers and acquisitions, as needed.
- Leadership Communication: Supporting senior leadership to communicate strategy, key messages and initiatives, to include briefing packs, all-company townhalls, newsletters and informs. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with BU Communication Teams, working collaboratively to cascade content and to unearth relevant stories from the markets for Group channels. Playing a key role in building BU capabilities, including participation in IMCR trainings and validations as needed. Supporting live IMCRs, developing comms materials and statements, media updates and summaries and approval flows. Partnering with the wider CAS function to coordinate efforts towards our goal of creating positive conditions for growth (protecting and enhancing our reputation with stakeholders and communicating our sustainability leadership position). Supporting key company events and other strategically important projects as required.
YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:
- Have 6+ years corporate communications experience, preferably in FMCG (understanding of The Coca-Cola System and Coca-Cola HBC’s role within it or experience within a FTSE 100 are an advantage, but not essential).
- Have a track record of delivering results through high quality communications content and playing a lead role in a communications or corporate affairs function.
- Have proven experience of developing and executing strategic communications and of delivering Tier 1 media coverage.
- Have an understanding of media landscape with experience managing press office function, customer and issues/crisis management.
- Have excellent writing skills, with an ability to tailor writing style as needed for audiences (media, internal, leadership, customers, stakeholders).
- Have proven business acumen and understanding of commercial agenda and customer relationships.
- Have proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally and across multiple markets.
- Have experience updating intranet sites and/or content management systems.
- Are a team player, committed to our company purpose, values and the Group Communication vision.
- Are a self-motivator with the ability to take ownership of projects and workstreams, while working within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
- Have experience working closely with agencies to deliver look of success.
- Have an appetite to learn and develop, and a curiosity to explore emerging trends and apply best practices.
- Have an eye for good design.
