Job Description Summary: Role Purpose

The Senior Manager is the senior system leader accountable for ensuring Coca-Cola’s strategies show up consistently and effectively in market—by turning commercial, brand, and innovation intent into disciplined, data-led execution across the Great Britain franchise system.

This role owns end-to-end in-market execution excellence across At Home channels (and selectively Away From Home), translating commercial, RGM, category, and marketing strategies into clear, scalable operational plans that deliver with speed, quality, and consistency at the shelf.

Acting as the central orchestration point between The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), the bottler (CCEP), and cross-functional teams, the Senior Manager aligns system priorities, defines the Picture of Success (PICOS), and builds repeatable execution frameworks and governance routines.

The role ensures that innovation, new pack launches, and priority initiatives land effectively in store, delivering against both execution and commercial performance expectations.

Fundamentally, this role is about closing the gap between strategy and execution—raising execution discipline, enabling faster time-to-market, and driving consistent, high-quality delivery through insight-led decision-making, strong system alignment, and continuous improvement.

  • What You’ll Do for Us
  • 1. Lead Execution Strategy & Operational Delivery
  • Translate commercial, RGM, category, and marketing strategies into integrated, actionable execution roadmaps.
  • Define and embed a clear “Picture of Success” (PICOS), ensuring consistent standards across activation, assortment, pricing, and in‑store execution.
  • Lead operational planning for priority brand initiatives, new pack launches, and innovation, ensuring readiness and flawless market delivery.
  • Drive key channel-specific strategic initiatives, aligning system plans to deliver volume, revenue, share, and distribution targets.
  • 2. Own System Execution Excellence
  • Establish and scale execution frameworks, standards, and operating models that simplify complexity and drive consistency across the system.
  • Ensure plans are delivered with speed, quality, and precision at store level.
  • Act as the system owner for in‑market execution, with accountability for execution outcomes across GB.
  • 3. Orchestrate System Alignment & Governance
  • Serve as the senior integration point between TCCC, CCEP, and cross‑functional teams, ensuring end‑to‑end alignment.
  • Translate strategy into clear execution briefs, timelines, and activation guidelines for effective bottler implementation.
  • Lead execution governance, including scorecards, performance reviews, and joint routines to drive accountability, transparency, and decision‑making.
  • Build a “one system” execution model adopted consistently across GB.
  • 4. Drive Insight‑Led Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Leverage data, dashboards, digital tools, and AI-enabled analytics to identify execution gaps and diagnose root causes.
  • Monitor and improve key execution KPIs including availability, promo compliance, activation quality, assortment execution, and price‑pack compliance.
  • Lead test‑and‑learn approaches, embedding after‑action reviews and continuous improvement into future planning cycles.
  • Drive faster time‑to‑market and improved return on commercial investment through stronger execution.
  • 5. Enable Innovation & Build System Capability
  • Ensure execution readiness for innovation launches, enabling high‑quality implementation and rapid feedback loops.
  • Champion agile, simplified ways of working that enhance speed and effectiveness across the system.
  • Elevate execution capability across TCCC and bottler teams, strengthening data literacy, tool adoption, and execution discipline.
  • Embed modern, insight‑led approaches to execution excellence across the organisation.

Experience & Capabilities

  • Strong expertise in commercial and operational execution across At Home channels, with exposure to AFH preferred. Proven ability to translate strategy into execution at scale.
  • Robust commercial, RGM, and analytical skills, with experience applying data, execution metrics, dashboards, and AI‑enabled tools to drive performance.
  • Demonstrated system leadership, influencing bottlers and cross‑functional teams in complex, matrixed environments to drive integrated operational plans.
  • Strategic and execution‑focused, able to build scalable frameworks, simplify complexity, and drive predictable in‑market results.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication, with strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Relevant experience in GB would be required.
