Production Lead Operator Function: Supply Chain Location:Lisburn Contract: 12 Month Secondment ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB The Lead Technician is required to lead other technicians in carrying out all direct and any related work as required by the Production Supervisor. The role will work as part of a cross-functional multi-skilled team for the purpose of manufacturing, storing and the supply of CC Hellenic products. YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Co-ordination of activities to support Production Supervisor in the delivery of the Key Business Objectives Optimise planned production volume to ensure efficient delivery and planned downtime to target process improvement Deputise for Production Supervisor as required Deliver functional training to impart knowledge and enhance team skill-set. Set up, operate & maintain, effectively & efficiently, a range of processes within a Production & Warehousing environment To ensure compliance with quality standards, conduct quality checks and keep records Achieve all standards and targets defined for the relevant Supply Chain process Provide input and analysis in support of the Continuous Improvement process Maintain optimise and record as required the movement, storage and usage of materials and products minimising costs Maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible work environment in accordance with the company’s health and safety and loss prevention control standards Comply with company policies and procedures. Operate company IT systems , record and update data as required Achieve all standards and targets defined for the relevant operational process, strive to maintain and increase standards and targets defined for the relevant operational process Meet housekeeping requirements within assigned work zone in order to maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and to maintain and improve GMP within CCHBC Strong focus on good customer service Continuous training & development of new employees Comply with company waste and recycling processes Receive and deliver training in new equipment and processes and NVQ curriculum Ensure completion of all autonomous maintenance tasks ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS? Essential Criteria 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English which must be at grade C or above, OR equivalent qualifications OR 2 years relevant manufacturing experience. Flexibility including ability to meet shift demands of the job.
