YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Undertake repairs and maintenance on PLC controlled production machinery, packaging equipment, and associated systems.
- Carry out equipment inspections, identify potential issues, and define appropriate work scopes and standards.
- Accurately record, report, and update all maintenance activities using the Mobile Maintenance Management System.
- Maintain plant maintenance records, update job plans, and technical documentation to support efficient maintenance and reduce delays.
- Provide technical expertise to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency of plant machinery and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to support smooth operations in a high-speed beverage manufacturing environment.

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent.
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent Higher Level qualification in Electrical/Automation / Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3 years experience in FMCG or beverage/food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical / Mechanical drawings, installation of new equipment and deep understanding of control systems.
- Demonstrates the highest standards of practice in health and safety.
- Demonstrates cross-functional thinking and understanding.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root cause analysis.
Desired Criteria
- Time served Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems.
- 3rd level Education qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics).
- Extensive experience in FMCG or beverage/food manufacturing environment.
