YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solve reasons for breakdown and undertake corrective and preventative actions to resolve.
- Repairs and maintenance of PLC controlled machinery.
- The recording and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Conduct equipment inspections and determine appropriate job work scopes and standards.
- Create and maintain plant history and other technical files to include information in current job plans to anticipate and avoid job delays.
- Provide technical assistance as required to improve the reliability and performance of the plant's machinery.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety Standards.
- Utilise Computer based maintenance management system to support the maintenance function.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent.
- HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or electronics / NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years FMCG experience.
- 2-3 years in a technical role including experience in the interpretation of drawings, installation of new equipment and knowledge of control systems.
- Demonstrates the highest standards of practice in health and safety.
- Demonstrates cross-functional thinking and understanding.
Desired Criteria:
- Time served artisan (Electrical, Electronic).
- 3rd level qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics).
- PLC programming experience.
