Wakefield Operations is a flagship manufacturing site, producing a significant proportion of GB’s volume across multiple high-speed production lines. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials to production. Your focus will include:

  • Leading and embedding a strong safety-first culture
  • Developing, coaching and engaging a team to consistently deliver high standards
  • Ensuring reliable supply of raw materials to production through effective planning and control
  • Taking ownership of stock accuracy, storage profiles and system integrity
  • Driving improvements in waste control, yield and overall efficiency
  • Embedding operational excellence routines and supporting progression through OE accreditation levels
  • Delivering and maintaining GMP standards across all activities

You will also build strong relationships across the business, working closely with scheduling, material supply and QESH teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience within a manufacturing or operational setting
  • Strong decision-making capability and the ability to perform under pressure

  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and make sound judgements
  • Experience or awareness of stock control, materials management or supply processes
