Production Team Leader - Sidcup (Permanent) Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits + Shift Plan/Working Hours + Car Parking

What you become part of:

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines the site can produce 480,000 cans every hour, 96,000 PET bottles every hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect:

Reporting into the Production Manager, you will lead a team to ensure the successful operation of the production lines. You will ensure the production lines and people you are responsible for achieve the output required of them within production performance, labour resource, quality, yield and CRS targets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with high efficiency production lines you will deliver daily volumes
  • Achieve planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime events
  • Collaborate with QESH to deliver and improve the site’s Quality, Environment, Health and Safety standards
  • Yield management to ensure delivery of all yield budget targets in ingredients and packaging
  • Improve and embed operational excellence through effective site routines, with a huge focus on data driven decisions
  • Leading your team to deliver the maintenance strategy
  • Working to achieve 100% compliance of maintenance schedules
  • Deliver exceptionally high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) with your team
  • Grow, develop and engage your team via our performance management processes and successfully develop pipeline talent of the future
  • Create a culture of safety by guiding and leading safe working practices

Skills & Essentials:

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to make critical decisions within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and hunger to succeed
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks using initiative
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP is advantageous but not essential
