We’re seeking a Senior Manager – Sustainability (Water) to guide and grow our water stewardship, nature strategy, and beyond-value-chain mitigation work across our markets. This is a high impact role at a pivotal time, ideal for someone who blends technical sustainability expertise with strategic thinking, partnership-building, and a desire to create measurable change.
About the Role
- Lead CCEP’s water and nature sustainability agenda, ensuring strong alignment with our “This is Forward” commitments and The Coca Cola Company’s global water security strategy.
- Shape and deliver a long term water replenishment and nature positive strategy, prioritising high risk locations across Europe and APS.
- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership, partnering closely with colleagues across QESH, Supply Chain, Procurement, our Business Units and TCCC.
- Manage and evaluate a portfolio of water replenishment and nature projects, supporting markets with planning, funding and delivery.
- Track, assure, and report water- and nature related performance data for internal and external disclosure (e.g., Integrated Report, CDP).
- Build internal capability through education and engagement on CCEP’s water and nature strategies.
- Represent CCEP externally with global partners and networks such as WWF, The Nature Conservancy, Alliance for Water Stewardship, CEO Water Mandate, and others.
- Support supplier engagement programmes and regenerative agriculture partnerships that deliver water, climate and nature benefits.
- Chair the Climate and Water Resilience Group, helping markets identify risks and develop climate adaptation plans.
This is a highly collaborative role with a combination of strategic responsibility, technical insight, and hands on programme leadership.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is passionate, curious, collaborative and proactive — someone who thrives on solving complex sustainability challenges with rigour and creativity.
Experience & Skills
- Strong background in water stewardship, water replenishment, nature restoration, and/or carbon sequestration projects.
- Knowledge of water, biodiversity and sustainable agriculture issues, plus key disclosure frameworks such as CDP Water, CDP Forests, TNFD, and ideally SBTi and BVCM methodologies.
- Experience in corporate sustainability reporting and disclosure.
- Skilled in managing and interpreting large datasets using digital tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong influencing, stakeholder engagement and project management skills, ideally gained in a complex matrix environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and digital tools for data management/visualisation.
- Strong organisational skills and comfort managing large or complex datasets.
- Knowledge of global water risks and hydrogeology is an advantage.
