Deployment is part of the GB Planning Department which includes: Demand Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling and Deployment.
The Professional for Deployment is responsible for driving an agenda that is focused on the performance of a portfolio and or a location's performance, with a mindset that is open to change, and hungry to seek out continuous improvement opportunities.
Key responsibilities:- Drives the financial KBI’s, ensuring that we have the right level of focus on our pallet touch, IBT compliance (adherence to strategy), KM’s and our cost per pallet.
- Ensures that we maintain high levels of compliance for our D1 stock position as a result of strong optimiser execution performance, and the ongoing review of safety and cycle stock at location level.
- Represents Deployment in the SQUAD, Aged Stock and or WAM calls, ensuring that we are managing cost, service and risk in the immediate and challenging ourselves to capitalise on success and reduce the risk of repeat failure.
- Drives continuous improvement in the Deployment processes and in key metrics such as Pallet Touch, Cost per Pallet and D1 Stock Position, whilst developing routines, processes and capabilities within the team.
- Supports the delivery of the wider Supply Chain / Planning & Commercialization strategy through management of broader initiatives and projects.
- Two of the Deployers will take on additional responsibility as they will assume the duties of a Super User. This will include the upkeep of the Deployment and ST Planning Master data and the championing of best practice across the shifts.
This role is on a 4 on/4 off shift based position.
