Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one-stop shop for the GB market, including single-sourced packages such as aseptic products and a wide range of small cans. Across seven manufacturing lines, the site can produce up to 480,000 cans per hour, 132,000 PET bottles per hour, and 48,000 glass bottles. There are around 270 colleagues across Manufacturing, QESH, Engineering and Distribution. Please note this is a role based on a continental shift pattern working 12 hour days and nights.

What to expect:

You will report into a Shift Manager working as part of our production team to safely operate and maintain machinery and production lines. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic repairs
  • Completing and recording quality checks
  • Maintaining and replenishing stock (e.g. packaging, bottle lids, preforms)
  • Using root cause analysis to diagnose and escalate faults
  • Supporting Engineers to improve line reliability
  • Following Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
  • Performing manual handling tasks safely

Skills & Essentials:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to absorb information
  • A good level of numerical, practical, and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work to demanding timescales and meet customer requirements
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Adaptable, with a flexible approach to tasks aligned with business needs
  • Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment is beneficial, but not essential
