About the Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising the electrical and automation systems within our Sidcup production and warehousing facilities.
Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio.
The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans.
Across their 7 manufacturing lines the site can produce 480,000 cans every hour, 96,000 PET bottles every hour and 48,000 Glass bottles.
There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QSE, Engineering, and Distribution.
For the right candidate there is excellent career opportunities, both within the Sidcup and further afield across other GB and Pan-European locations within the CCEP network.
Please note this role is working 12 hour continental shifs consistening of days and nights What you'll be doing: Deep understating of electrical fault finding to be utilised across the site.
Provide support for production, resolving breakdowns, and contribute to achieving site efficiency targets.
Owning electrical route cause analysis.
Ability to work safely either independently or part of a team.
Demonstrate a deep understanding for safe isolations and safety circuits.
Maintain and troubleshoot Siemens PLC systems (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500).
Experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix and B&R Xenon screens is valued.
Understand the necessity to keep our software backup system up to date.
Skills & Essentials: To be a time served electrical or dual skilled (electrical & mechanical/automation) engineer apprentice with an NVQ3 or equivalent with relevant experience.
Significant experience of working as an engineer in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
Understand and deliver on Preventative Planed Maintenance.
Extensive experience in complex machine breakdowns and fault-finding.
Experience with Siemens PLC systems (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500).
Ability to lead, coach, and support on-site technicians and apprentices.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
Knowledge of additional systems like Allen Bradley and safety PLCs.
Familiarity with CCEP standards related to HV/LV electrical systems and automation.
HNC in electrical engineering/equivalent or higher Relevant skills in automation around PLC’s and HMI’s.
