Are you ready to play a key role in shaping corporate governance at a global level? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Company Secretary to join our dynamic Secretariat team. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and contribute to high-impact projects that support our compliance, governance, and reporting obligations across the Group and Europe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Annual Report & Form 20-F
- Coordinating timelines and stakeholder meetings
- Drafting and reviewing content for consistency and compliance
- Managing feedback from senior leaders, legal teams, and auditors
- Overseeing online publication and regulatory submissions
- Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Leading project management for AGM delivery
- Drafting key documents and liaising with external partners
- Team Collaboration & Supervision
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Reviewing work and offering guidance as needed
- Subsidiary Governance
- Maintaining records using Diligent Entities
- Supporting routine company administration and compliance
- Listed Entity Compliance
- Preparing stock exchange announcements and regulatory filings
- Ensuring adherence to EU/UK Market Abuse Regulations and listing rules
- Board & Committee Support
- Assisting with meeting preparation and minute-taking
- Managing board materials via Diligent Boards
- Capital & Governance Framework
- Supporting share capital record-keeping and listing processes
- Contributing to the evolution of governance frameworks and team processes
What You’ll Bring
- Experienced in a UK-listed company secretariat environment
- Skilled in managing annual reports and AGMs
- A GradCG or ACG with 7 + years of relevant experience
- Confident in project management and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledgeable in corporate governance, UK Companies Act, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and governance tools like Diligent Boards and Entities
