About the site: East Kilbride Operations produce 20 million cases annually across 6 lines, including the only UK site producing Appletiser in glass. With 204 employees, this role offers excellent career growth opportunities within the site and across other locations.
Role overview: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure equipment reliability through the Maintenance Plan, supporting maintenance execution and machine standards across manufacturing and distribution.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Root Cause Analysis and 5 Whys to prevent breakdowns.
- Manage six-year maintenance plans, including budgeting and OEM coordination.
- Upskill operators and technicians via on-the-job coaching.
- Coordinate escalation for maintenance or breakdown support.
- Prioritize corrective backlog to mitigate risks to equipment and production.
Skills & requirements:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or Degree).
- Experience in machine asset care and data analysis for root cause analysis.
- Strong written English and technical instruction skills.
- Experience with SAP preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Excel.
