What you become part of: East Kilbride Operations produce 20 million cases of drinks per year across their 6 production lines - 2 glass bottle and 2 PET bottle (plastic). This is the only site in GB that produces our Appletiser products in glass. There are ~204 employees on site and experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in East Kilbride and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What to expect: Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering reliable equipment through the Maintenance Plan. You will support and assess the efficiency of Maintenance execution across both Manufacturing and Distribution and the effectiveness of Machine Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis process and 5 Whys to prevent recurring breakdowns.
  • Own six year maintenance plans for equipment and manage plans including budget & OEM coordination.
  • Support upskilling of Operators & Technicians through on the job coaching on maintenance tasks.
  • Act as the lead co-ordinator for escalating maintenance or breakdown support.
  • Manage risk to equipment & production by reviewing & prioritising corrective backlog.

Skills & Essentials:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification - NVQ Level 4 or Degree level.
  • Experience of practical machine asset care.
  • Experience in data analysis for Root Cause Analysis purposes.
  • Good written English and writing technical instructions.
  • Experience in SAP preferred but not essential.
  • Strong Excel skills.
