Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. Across their 7 manufacturing lines, the site can produce 480,000 cans every hour, 96,000 PET bottles every hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift management of your area/team in every aspect (operational: productivity, yields and asset care; QESH, Labour: attendance, support and training) to ensure it delivers the output required within efficiency, quality, costs and CRS targets, through a high level of engagement.
- Shift handover routines: receive and transfer all the information needed to run smooth operations.
- Labour attendance control at shift’s start and communication of labour planning changes.
- Support the team which is leading for daily reliefs and certain operational activities.
- Confirm the shift routines and activities are executed (CIL: Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication; Quality controls; Fulfill the shifts and daily reports and Plant routines).
- Data driven and Continuous Improvement analysis of Performance, Yields, Asset Care activities, Quality issues.
- Management of the labour resources available within the Cell/Area to optimize the production output based on the scheduling plan.
- With the support of the Technical Trainer(s), plan, prepare and execute the training and succession plans for the (regular) team of the shift.
- Finding the right balance between short-term (daily, weekly) & medium-term (monthly) focus and activities.
- People management of an operational unit, within a unionised environment.
- Operational management experience in a FMCG, large business including health & safety, raw materials/yield management, environmental and food factory quality standards.
- Utilises data analysis and reporting to drive informed business decisions.
- Applies strong knowledge of manufacturing processes to optimise performance.
- Ensures consistent delivery of quality through robust assurance processes.
- Builds effective relationships through collaboration and networking.
