As an Insights Manager - Convenience & Wholesale, you will be responsible for leading insight delivery to ensure our commercial environment teams are making insight-led decisions. You will play a key role in ensuring that our forward plans are based on robust shopper insights, enabling us to make strategic decisions that drive growth. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders to ensure insights are at the heart of our business planning. Your ability to analyse data, tell compelling stories, and translate insights into actionable strategies will be crucial in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead market performance reporting for Convenience and support the Senior Insights Manager with periodic market performance updates.
- Conduct deep dives into market performance, bringing learnings and recommendations to inform new thinking and enhance customer collaboration.
- Lead the insight team input into the Annual Business Plan (ABP) for Convenience and Wholesale, playing an active role in cross-functional teams.
- Support the Senior Insights Manager in developing wholesale insights.
- Contribute to the internal Insights capability programme.
- Play an active role in communicating insights across the business to drive informed decision-making.
- Manage the client-agency relationship with one of our agency partners.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in an Insights role or similar (either agency or FMCG client-side experience).
- Strategic problem-solving and the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable insight delivery plans.
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and develop simple, compelling insight stories.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and data visualisation skills.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Strong consulting skills to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- Commercial understanding to translate insights into business implications.
- Ability to prioritise projects based on commercial priorities.
