We work closely with People & Culture and senior stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters.

What to expect

  • In this role, you will work closely with the Associate Director, Legal – Employment and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Advising on day-to-day employment law and employee relations issues, including flexible working requests and data subject access requests.
  • Supporting complex disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and restructuring activity.
  • Managing and supporting all elements of employment tribunal claims, working with external Counsel.
  • Drafting and reviewing HR policies, contracts and settlement agreements.
  • Supporting Code of Conduct matters and internal investigations.
  • Supporting on projects and legislation change – including changes relating to the Employment Rights Act 2025.

Skills & Essentials

  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 1–3 years' PQE in employment law.
  • Strong grounding in employment law – including collective consultation and TUPE.
  • Employment Tribunal experience.
  • Experience working with HR / Employee Relations stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, provide pragmatic advice, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.

Desirable:

  • Experience in labour relations / unionised environment, including European Works Councils.
  • Experience with international companies (particularly in Europe) and cross-border work.
