We are Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) – a dedicated team of 42,000 people, serving customers in 31 markets, who work together to make, move and sell some of the world's most loved drinks.

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Data Scientist to drive impactful data science and AI initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help define, prioritise, and deliver high-value AI and data science projects that align with business goals. You will also play a key role in building and mentoring a high-performing team while championing best practices and innovation across the function.

  • Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of AI and data science projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to scope, prioritise, and advance initiatives through structured processes such as an AI incubator.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of data scientists (internal and third-party), supporting both their technical and professional growth.
  • Take ownership of solution adoption, including production handovers and ongoing model performance monitoring.
  • Design and implement forward-looking AI proof-of-concepts, contributing hands-on to development where needed.
  • Drive innovation and best practices in machine learning, analytics, and data science delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience leading data science and AI initiatives in complex environments.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modelling, and business analytics.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Experience within FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Azure or Databricks.
