Our East Kilbride site is one of the largest and most versatile operations in Great Britain, producing around 38 million cases of drinks every year across four high‑performance lines (two glass and two PET). It is also the only site in GB that produces our Appletiser range in glass, offering a unique opportunity to gain specialist experience. What to expect
As a Technical Operator, you’ll work closely with your Team Leader and colleagues to operate and maintain our production equipment safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering production plans, meeting quality and yield targets, and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating machinery in line with efficiency, safety, and quality standards
- Carrying out CIP, SIP, and cleaning routines to maintain GMP and micro standards
- Performing basic maintenance, asset care, and minor repairs
- Following site safety practices and promoting zero‑accident behaviours
- Conducting quality checks and escalating non‑conformances
- Using line‑monitoring systems and data sources to track and improve performance
- Carrying out effective shift handovers
- Ordering, using, and returning stock in line with site processes
- Supporting and leading continuous‑improvement activities
- Working collaboratively with Engineers to improve equipment reliability
- Upholding all Food Safety, Health & Safety, and hygiene requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organised work area and demonstrating pride in the site
- Taking ownership of work quality and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Adapting flexibly to tasks and contributing to team, department, and site goals
