We are hiring a full-time ASRS Technical Operator to help innovate and improve existing processes and systems. This engineering role offers a salary of up to £60k per annum along with an annual bonus.
You will be working alongside an engineer, playing an active and important role in the overall supply chain operation. The ASRS Technical Operator will safely maintain machinery within an automated warehouse to ensure required outputs are achieved in performance case fill and CRS targets.
As a flexible ASRS Technical Operator with CCEP, you can expect to work in some of the following areas:
- Promote efficiency and effectiveness through supplying technical support to execute product/equipment changes and critical cleaning processes
- Work at height and form part of the safety rescue team
- Manage an advanced maintenance plan through completion of all asset care tasks ensuring all relevant KBIs are met, including effective use of our Central Maintenance Management System
- Follow site safety best practices to ensure safe working for self and protect the safety of colleagues
East Kilbride Operations produce 32 million raw cases of drinks per year across their 4 production lines - 2 glass bottle, 2 PET bottle (plastic). This is the only site in GB that produces our Appletiser products in glass. The site despatched around 70 vehicles per day to fulfil customer and inter branch needs. There will be 220 employees by the end of 2025 and experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in East Kilbride and further afield across other GB sites and Europacific locations.
To apply for this ASRS Technical Operator position, you must have completed a formal engineering apprenticeship or are qualified up to NVQ level 2 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. We are looking for candidates with:
- Minimum of an HNC in a relevant subject (proven extensive work experience would be considered)
- Good working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley would be advantageous)
- Solid understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering
