We are looking for a Category Development Manager to lead our Soft Drinks category strategy in the Grocery channel. The role involves developing and executing a growth‑focused category plan, collaborating with key accounts, and influencing cross‑functional teams to deliver sustained performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear vision for the Soft Drinks category and create a framework for long‑term growth across key environments and customers.
  • Partner with key accounts to design strategic plans that identify opportunities to drive performance.
  • Drive CCEP’s strategic thinking and value‑creation story with Retailers by engaging with Buyers, Merchandisers and Category Directors.
  • Lead activities such as Land Range Relays, macro space resets, tenders / renegotiations, channel strategy visions and Customer Business Planning Days.
  • Establish and maintain a mutually beneficial customer contact strategy and broaden engagement with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (National Accounts, R & MGM, Insights) to ensure alignment and execution against category and brand strategies.
  • Deliver quality category analysis reports and insights to customers on a regular basis.
  • Manage relationships with external providers (category and customer‑specific) to secure high‑quality data.
  • Drive change by automating range reviews, launching strategic projects such as channel strategy and Platinum store initiatives across key customers.

Skills & Experience

  • Passion, proactive ownership and resilience for growing the category.
  • Strong listening and influencing skills at various levels within the organisation and with customers.
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with Nielsen, CGA, Lumina, GfK and other data providers.
  • Previous FMCG Category Management experience and strong knowledge of the Grocery channel is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with large customers and to analyse complex data sets.
