The role:

As Senior Business Development Director, you will be responsible for expanding the firm’s UK presence through relationship-led origination and strategic market engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Business Development & Market Engagement: Originate new agency and trustee mandates through your established sponsor, fund and law firm network; Execute a UK-focused BD strategy aligned with wider European growth plans; Represent the firm at leading European conferences and industry events.
• Transaction & Internal Collaboration: Work closely with transaction management and operations teams across multiple European offices; Support complex loan closings and ongoing mandates, ensuring a consistently high client experience; Stay close to market developments to identify new opportunities and areas for innovation.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Mentor and support a junior team member; Participate in regular cross-border strategy discussions with senior leadership; Provide structured pipeline updates and commercial insights to management.

About You:

You’re an established BD professional in syndicated lending, with a strong reputation and trusted client relationships.

You Will Bring:

• Proven business development experience within loan administration, trustee services or fund administration
• A demonstrable track record of originating mandates via sponsors and/or law firms
• Strong understanding of loan closing mechanics and transaction lifecycles
