Due to expanding into the UK, this leading company in golf course maintenance requires a senior groundcare engineer to service and repair equipment used within a golf course, including machines for sharpening golf clubs and tractors.
The Role:
- Maintaining and repairing equipment across 6 courses in the South of England, 5 of which are just outside of London.
- The majority of the repairs would be done onsite in Surrey, but there would be an occasional need to drive to each of the courses.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf course maintenance equipment.
- Perform regular servicing and sharpening of mowing equipment.
- Complete job cards for all works undertaken.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
The Candidate:
- Mechanical experience, with electro-hydraulic experience as an advantage.
- Previous experience in a mechanical role.
- A full driving licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The Package:
- Annual salary of £32,000 - £35,000.
