They have established strong working relationships with local authorities throughout the Northumberland area and are now bringing that experience, infrastructure and proven approach to Livingston .This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to play a pivotal role in establishing the new service, developing relationships locally and building a high-quality operation with genuine potential for growth.The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will take ownership of the development and day-to-day management of the Livingston service. Leading the launch, development and growth of the new serviceEnsuring full compliance with Care Inspectorate and SSSC requirementsRecruiting, developing and leading a high-quality care teamOverseeing care planning, safeguarding, audits and quality assuranceBuilding strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals and referral partnersManaging staffing, rotas, resources and on-call arrangementsDriving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards of person-centred careSupporting business development and identifying opportunities to grow the service across the local areaAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced and commercially aware care professional who understands both quality care delivery and the development of a successful domiciliary care service .Previous management or deputy management experience within domiciliary and/or residential careStrong knowledge of Scottish care regulations and Care Inspectorate requirementsTo be registered, or eligible to register, with the SSSC as a Manager of a Care ServiceAn appropriate social care practice qualificationA suitable management qualification at SCQF Level 9 or aboveStrong leadership, safeguarding and quality assurance experienceThe confidence to build relationships with commissioners and local authoritiesA full UK driving licenceThe ambition and drive to help establish and grow a service in a completely new geographical areaExperience of opening, developing or growing a domiciliary care service would be particularly advantageous.45,000 - £48,000 basic salaryBupa private health insurance28 days' holidayCompany pensionComprehensive induction and ongoing professional developmentManagement support and reflective practiceGenuine career progression as the organisation continues to expandThe opportunity to have a major influence on a brand-new service from day oneA Genuine Opportunity to Build SomethingThis isn't simply about stepping into an established service and maintaining it.
