Job Title: Interim Dynamics BC Systems Manager Location: Warrington - Hybrid 2 days per week on site Day Rate: Negotiable Duration: 6 Months - Immediate Start Purpose of the role A hands-on, senior interim to take ownership of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central function for six months. You will stabilise day-to-day support, bridge the gap between the system and the business, and build the foundations for a change roadmap The remit is deliberately broad. You will cover a key gap while a permanent appointment gets up to speed, and take operational load off the Director so they can focus on wider delivery. Key responsibilities Oversee the support function day to day: prioritise and drive tickets to resolution; hold the team and suppliers to SLAs; clear the backlog. Bridge system and business: work directly with Finance, Commercial and operational users to understand how they use BC, translate needs into practical fixes, and manage expectations. Improve processes: identify where BC processes, configuration and workflows are inefficient or poorly adopted, and deliver quick wins alongside a prioritised improvement backlog. Build an end-to-end roadmap: work with system and business owners to develop a roadmap that supports the end-to-end business process, not the system process in isolation. Join up business and system change: make sure business processes, system processes and improvement opportunities dovetail and complement each other. Understand the inputs to and outputs from each process, so change is never delivered in isolation or against only one part of the process. Steady the team through handover: cover a key resolver vacancy and get the incoming replacement productive quickly; work alongside the in-house BC team on improvements and projects. Report and escalate: give the Director a concise weekly view of support performance, risks and progress, escalating only what needs a decision. What success looks like at 6 months Support backlog under control. Business users see BC as better supported, with visible process improvements delivered. An end-to-end roadmap agreed with system and business owners, covering business and system processes together. Improvements delivered across whole processes, with inputs and outputs understood, rather than as isolated system fixes. The permanent replacement fully up to speed and a clean handover completed. Experience and skills required Strong functional and technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central (finance, purchasing, projects/jobs, configuration, permissions, extensions and integrations). Proven track record running or turning around an ERP support function, including managing third-party support partners. Business process analysis: able to map current state, spot waste and land practical change with users. Comfortable engaging finance and operational stakeholders up to senior level. Construction, infrastructure or multi-entity group experience is a plus. Personal attributes Outgoing and confident: builds relationships quickly and is happy to walk the floor with users. Tenacious: chases issues to closure and does not let things drift. Self-directed: works with minimal management, makes decisions and brings solutions, not problems. Equally credible in a boardroom conversation and in the system configuration. Pragmatic and calm under pressure, with a bias for getting things done. We are looking for someone that can start immediately. Coburg Banks Limited is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. TPBN1_UKTJ
