Part of a larger global group, this company has doubled in size over the last five years and works with some large household names in the UK. We are looking for a hands-on Head of Cyber Security to join the senior management team and further develop their cyber security services while also managing a site-based cyber team. We are looking for a 'people person' to fit in with the empathetic and transformational culture of the business, who can provide a safe pair of hands and be a trusted adviser to their clients.
You will have a solid security network architecture background, be comfortable being the lead TDA, and creating HLD and LLD documentation, designing secure networks to protect the clients' infrastructure and data. A further key part of your role will be to take management responsibility for the SOC that covers a shift pattern and OOH rotas, ensuring key services are effectively delivered to the clients, as well as taking control of the War Room in the event of a cyber incident.
The company is happy with a mix of home and office work, with an average expectation of three days in the office/client sites each week.
Experience
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Cyber Security with a solid background in network security architecture and experience in managing and leading a SOC team. You will have excellent stakeholder and client management skills and a supportive and empowering management style. We would expect you to have good knowledge across NIS2, ISO27001, and ISO22301 as you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining these standards.
