Field Care Supervisor Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor to join a well-established and growing care provider supporting people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This is a varied, hands-on role combining office-based responsibilities with time out in the community. You'll play an important part in maintaining high standards of care, supporting a team of carers and ensuring clients continue to receive safe, personalised and reliable support. The Role Working as part of an experienced care team, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out initial client assessments Completing regular client reviews and care plan reviews Conducting spot checks and quality monitoring Supporting and supervising a team of approximately 40 care staff Providing day-to-day support and guidance to carers in the field Helping with the onboarding and development of new care staff Ensuring care is delivered in line with individual care plans and company standards Supporting the smooth running of approximately 1,500 hours of care each week Working closely with fellow Field Care Supervisors and the wider management team Participating in the on-call rota, which is included within the salary Providing occasional care calls or operational support where required This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk. You'll be visible, approachable and regularly out supporting both carers and clients. About You We're looking for someone with experience of supervising, leading or supporting care staff who is ready to take on a varied Field Care Supervisor position. You may already be working as a Field Care Supervisor, or you could be an experienced Team Leader, Senior Carer, Care Supervisor or Deputy within a residential, supported living or other care setting and be looking for your next step. Ideally, you will have: Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting a team within a care environment A good understanding of care standards, care plans and person-centred support Strong organisational and communication skills The confidence to deal with clients, families and care professionals The ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly when plans change A proactive and supportive approach to managing and developing care staff A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle The right to work in the UK Experience within domiciliary care would be useful, but is not essential. Full support will be provided to help the successful candidate understand the operational requirements of community-based care.
