About Cobry
Cobry helps organisations get more from their digital workplace by designing, delivering, and supporting modern cloud-based technology solutions. We work with customers to improve how their people communicate, collaborate, secure their devices, and manage their technology. Our projects often involve helping businesses move to, optimise, and adopt tools such as Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Chrome Enterprise Premium.
We are looking for a Digital Workplace Consultant to join the team and play a key role in delivering excellent customer projects, supporting technical scoping, and helping customers get the best possible outcomes from their digital workplace.
About the role
This is a hands-on consulting role with a strong mix of project delivery, customer engagement, solution design, and technical problem-solving. You will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, scope solutions, and deliver technical projects to a high standard. You will also support the sales team during discovery and pre-sales, helping to shape solutions, estimate effort, and provide technical confidence throughout the sales process. The role does not include line management responsibility. You will not be managing a team, but you will be expected to take ownership of your own projects, communicate clearly with colleagues and customers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of how we deliver our services. Support work will be limited to occasional involvement in escalated tickets where your technical input is needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Consulting and project delivery: You will deliver digital workplace projects for customers, making sure work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with agreed scope and expectations. Typical projects may include:
- Migrating businesses from Microsoft 365 or other platforms to Google Workspace
- Configuring and optimising Google Workspace environments
- Supporting identity, access, and device management projects using tools such as JumpCloud
- Helping customers improve security, administration, and governance across their digital workplace
- Working with Chrome Enterprise Premium and related Google technologies
- Supporting customers through technical change and adoption
- Providing clear documentation, handover, and guidance at the end of projects
- Pre-sales and solution scoping: You will support the sales team by providing technical input during the sales process. This will include helping with discovery, technical scoping, project estimates, effort forecasting, and solution design. You will help make sure proposed solutions are practical, commercially sound, and aligned with what the customer needs. You may also support technical workshops or demonstrations for prospective customers, helping them understand how Cobry can support their organisation.
- Escalated technical support: From time to time, you will assist with escalated support tickets where additional technical expertise is required. This is not a general support desk role. Your involvement in support will be occasional and focused on helping resolve more complex issues that need deeper product or implementation knowledge.
- Internal improvement: You will contribute to improving how Cobry delivers projects and supports customers. This may include refining documentation, improving technical processes, sharing knowledge with colleagues, identifying useful certifications, and helping us develop repeatable approaches for common project types.
Key technologies
You will work across a range of digital workplace technologies, with a particular focus on:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migrations
- JumpCloud
- Chrome Enterprise Premium
- Cloud identity, access, security, and device management
- Digital workplace administration, governance, and adoption
Experience with Google Cloud is beneficial, but not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, customer focus, and the ability to learn quickly.
What success looks like
You will be successful in this role if:
- Customer projects are delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard.
- Customers are happy with the quality of your communication, consulting, and technical delivery.
- Technical scoping is accurate, timely, and commercially sensible.
- Sales colleagues feel well supported during discovery and solution design.
- Escalated support issues are handled calmly and effectively when your input is needed.
- Project documentation, handovers, and internal processes continue to improve.
- You build strong, trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.
About you
You will likely have experience in a technical consulting, implementation, cloud, IT services, digital workplace, or systems administration role. You do not need to know every technology we use from day one. However, you should be comfortable learning new platforms, working directly with customers, solving technical problems, and taking ownership of delivery.
You will be a strong fit for this role if you are:
- Customer-focused: You take time to understand what customers are trying to achieve and shape solutions around their needs.
- Technically curious: You enjoy learning new systems, solving problems, and keeping your knowledge up to date.
- Action-oriented: You are proactive, practical, and willing to take ownership when challenges arise.
- Accountable: You follow through on commitments and take responsibility for your work.
- Collaborative: You work well with sales, delivery, support, partners, and customers.
- Adaptable: You are comfortable with changing priorities and can find sensible solutions in new situations.
- Clear in your communication: You can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercially aware: You understand the importance of accurate scoping, realistic estimates, and setting clear expectations.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Delivering digital workplace, cloud collaboration, IT transformation, or SaaS implementation projects
- Working with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, JumpCloud, Chrome Enterprise, or similar technologies
- Migrating users, data, email, documents, or business workflows between platforms
- Technical discovery, scoping, solution design, implementation, and handover
- Supporting sales teams with technical workshops, estimates, demos, or proposals
- Working directly with customers throughout project delivery
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Creating clear technical documentation and customer-facing guidance
- Improving repeatable processes and ways of working
Experience with Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Chrome Enterprise Premium would be useful, but we are open to candidates from adjacent backgrounds who can demonstrate strong technical ability and a willingness to learn.
Benefits
We want Cobry to be a brilliant place to work, with a culture that supports high performance, flexibility, and sustainable working practices. Our benefits include:

Why join Cobry?
This is an opportunity to take on a meaningful consulting role in a flexible, remote-first business with a strong focus on modern workplace technology. You will work directly with customers, influence technical solutions, and help businesses improve the way their teams work. You will also have space to develop your skills across Google Workspace, cloud identity, endpoint management, security, and digital workplace transformation. There is no line management responsibility, so the role is well suited to someone who wants to stay close to hands-on consulting and delivery while still having a visible impact on customers, projects, and internal ways of working.
