Role purpose

What you’ll be doing: Senior Marketing Manager, interim lead for the team, bridging high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll own decision-making, drive FY27 campaigns, and keep the team motivated and high-performing.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Provide day-to-day leadership for the marketing team, including line management of Marketing Managers. Support development, manage performance, and act as the main escalation point for delivery decisions.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Oversee execution of planned FY27 campaigns across priority channels. Manage delivery timelines, resource allocation, and alignment with commercial goals.
  • Reporting & Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with the Demand Gen Manager to analyse performance; present insights in commercial meetings and inform optimization and future planning.
  • Strategic Projects: Own key strategic initiatives such as launching new propositions, audience expansion, or channel innovation; collaborate with senior stakeholders to maintain momentum.
  • Partner Marketing: Lead partner marketing activity, identify opportunities for joint campaigns, and manage relationships for mutual growth.
  • Events: Coordinate owned events from concept to delivery and manage participation in industry conferences and sponsorships.
  • Brand & Profile: Guard brand consistency across touchpoints; support PR and work with Content Marketing Manager on thought leadership to build our profile.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience needed to be successful: a seasoned marketer who balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to make decisions.

  • Proven experience line-managing a team and driving performance, ideally within an agency or B2B environment.
  • Confidence in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns that drive tangible commercial results.
  • Commercial mindset with understanding of service delivery KPIs and ability to report on ROI to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing partner relationships and coordinating events (hosted and industry).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and build trusted relationships across the business.
  • Adaptability to pivot quickly when priorities shift.
