What you'll be doing
- Lead, grow and evolve the Paid Media function: set the strategic vision for PPC, develop operating frameworks and establish bestâinâclass standards across the team.
- Own PPC performance across Google Ads & Microsoft Ads, delivering highâperforming campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and emerging formats.
- Drive safe, structured AI adoption across Paid Media using tools such as AIMAX, AI creative scoring, Smart+ and Adv+.
- Build and implement GEO capability, integrating PPC, paid social, creative testing and data insights into a unified growth engine.
- Forecast revenue & performance with advanced modelling, using platform data, GA4 trends and regression analysis to build clear growth plans.
- Own and integrate the Paid Media reporting stack, ensuring accuracy and automation.
- Drive creative effectiveness & structured testing in collaboration with the Creative team.
- Lead new business pitches and crossâsell opportunities, shaping paid media narratives for proposals.
- Collaborate crossâfunctionally with SEO, Data & Insights, Creative and Strategy to deliver unified performance experiences.
- Coach, mentor and develop Paid Media talent across the team.
What Experience You Need To Be Successful
- Expertâlevel knowledge of PPC with handsâon experience managing Google Ads, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and multiâplatform paid media.
- Proven experience leading a Paid Media function with vision, capability building and process & performance focus.
- Strong understanding of AI in performance marketing and familiarity with AIâled campaign optimisation and creative scoring tools.
- Commercial ownership mindset: setting revenue targets, creating ROAS plans and using forecasting models to guide client spend.
- Crossâfunctional collaboration across Data, SEO, Creative, UX and Strategy.
- New business and pitch experience with deck building and presentation skills.
- Curiosity and experimentation, willingness to test betas and explore new platforms.
