Cobham Free School wishes to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic individual as a Teacher of Computing. The position is part-time (from 3 days a week) commencing in the Autumn Term 2026, however full time would also be considered.

We have two computing teachers who deliver the curriculum across KS3-KS5 in two well equipped ICT suites. The subject is a popular choice at GCSE and results are strong (nearly 40% achieving grades 7‑9 in 2025). Our A level cohort is small and we are keen to grow this, however teachers can enjoy the benefits of small groups.

ECTs are most welcome to apply, and we are experienced in offering dedicated support in conjunction with a successful local partnership. Experienced teachers can grow their career in a supportive and innovative environment. We would welcome applications from those requiring visa sponsorship, but candidates MUST have experience of delivering the UK curriculum.

  • A competitive salary, dependent on experience;
  • A strong vision based on innovation and best practice from the state and private sector;
  • A real commitment to Continuous Professional Development;
  • A supportive Senior Leadership Team who are passionate about education and welcome ideas;
