Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with a background in gas and power trading to join our Commercial team. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to shape business decisions and drive operational excellence through advanced analytics and predictive modelling. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in data science, with a strong preference for experience in the gas and power trading industry
  2. Strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  3. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to address complex, high-stakes challenges
  4. Proficiency in Python and advanced data science applications
  5. Expertise in machine learning algorithms and data visualisation tools
