Job Details:

A team Leader needs to demonstrate a high standard of animal husbandry including knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity in relation to poultry care. The Team Lead drives performance and standards within their team. This will include: hitting farm KPIs, maintaining Biosecurity and welfare standards of our birds, ensuring safety standards remain high whilst ensuring PPE is available and used, ensuring all aspects of flock management run smoothly and feed changes etc happen on time. Salary and benefits

  • Salary: Annual equivalent £36k
  • 24 days’ holiday, plus Bank Holidays.

The hours for this role are 48 per week on a 6 days on 2 days off rota. There will be an expectation to cover alarms in the managers absence as well as do some additional overtime when needed (depletion, bird intakes, and when there are other issues on the farm.) Additional Information Candidates cannot hold any avian species at home.
