Main responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance (QA)
    • Provide high quality administrative support to the QA Manager and Senior Specialist in a range of tasks including:
      • Administer and collate Quality Assurance documentation, reports, and records, including AOQL and other QA-related information.
      • Manage and process QA paperwork, including AI submissions within the UK, map creation, and data entry as required.
      • Liaise with internal departments and external customers to obtain data returns and ensure timely information exchange.
      • Provide reception and general administrative support.
      • Receive, validate, and input data returns from internal and external customers, maintaining Excel-based databases.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring information is stored within the appropriate filing structure and readily available for review.
      • Produce graphs, charts, and management reports as required, including regular monthly reporting.
      • Prepare and distribute flock age reports to support Quality Assurance, Planning, and Export requirements.
      • Support investigation activities and collaborate with colleagues to gather, review, and share relevant information.
      • Process and manage supplier invoices.
      • Process and allocate non-purchase order invoices through SAP Concur, ensuring appropriate approval workflows are completed.
  • Production
    • Provide high quality administrative support to the Production team in the administration of tasks including:
      • Coordinate feed ordering requirements for all UK farms, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
      • Resolve any feed supply disruptions caused by transport or feed mill issues, ensuring effective communication with farm and area managers.
      • Raise purchase orders within SAP for bulk feed orders, feed deliveries, waste management, and other shared farm-related expenses.
      • Provide support during production team absence – this will include tasks including support for FPS data entry across the UK, South Africa, Tanzania, and Germany.
      • Maintaining Gas usage records.
      • Collating month end stock information and produce reports for finance teams.
