Credit Manager/Senior Credit Controller | Maidstone | Salary £35K-£40K Cobb & Jones are exclusively working with a large, privately owned business based in Maidstone who are currently going through a growth period, they are looking to bring a Credit Manager on board to take full ownership of the function and to take responsibility in presenting to the board. The Job A newly created role due to business growth, strong excel skills will be needed with the ability to adapt, work quickly and diligently under pressure and to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will also need to be happy to take the lead and present in meetings. Responsibilities Opening credit accounts. Applying for credit insurance. Managing credit accounts and dealing with customer queries promptly. Chasing payments & posting cash receipts. Daily banking. Running daily / weekly / monthly sales ledger reports & reconciliations. Processing weekly invoice runs (multi system import routine). Presenting a weekly Credit Control meeting to Directors, managers & the commercial team. Working closely with the commercial team to maximise sales, whilst reducing exposure to potential credit risk. Experience Experience in both billing and credit control Flexible and able to deal promptly with queries and information requests Good level of reconciliation skills due to large volume of data JBRP1_UKTJ
