A growing multi-entity organisation is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys improving systems and processes, and can deliver accurate financial information under tight deadlines.
Key Duties
- Producing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
- Controlling and reviewing purchase & sales ledgers, petty cash, and card transactions
- Completing monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Posting payroll journals and maintaining working papers
- Managing inter-company transactions
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
- Preparing VAT and regulatory returns
- Supporting the statutory audit process
- Contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- The successful candidate will be a part-qualified or ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified accountant
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V/H lookups)
- Experience with ERP or business management systems (Xero/Navision desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information
- A commercial mindset and a willingness to adopt a hands-on approach
