Financial Controller in Dover

We are seeking a capable, hands-on Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and support the business through its next phase of growth. You will take ownership of financial reporting, strategic planning, and decision-making, working closely with directors and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance cycle, overseeing day-to-day activities to ensure strong financial control and best practice.
• Prepare and present full management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
• Monitor and control costs, highlighting trends, risks, and variances.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial reporting dashboards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience establishing and implementing financial processes and controls.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
• Commercially focused, collaborative, and able to partner effectively with stakeholders across the business.
