We are working with a fast paced East Kent business who are looking for a Management Accountant. This role will provide assistance with preparing management accounting information for our client and associated companies, as well as assist with the preparation of year end accounts in conjunction with the Head of Finance and Operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements and other key performance management information.
- Liaising with external advisers.
- Assist with the production of business forecasts and budgets.
- Creation of nominal codes for new starters as required.
- Assist with reconciling capital, current and tax accounts.
- Update and maintenance of yearly tax liabilities.
- Providing back up as necessary for day-to-day accounts processing, month end close down / reporting and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with cash flow management.
- Reconcile and submit VAT Returns.
- Development / management and administration of the Accounting and Reporting functions of the management system.
- Support with preparation of staff bonus calculations.
- Preparation and submission of Company secretarial items.
Key requirements:
- Experience of working across different areas of accounting for Limited Company.
- Knowledge of Company secretarial matters including confirmation statements and share transfer documents.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified.
- Microsoft Excel to advanced user level.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Team player.
- Confident and credible presentation skills.
