Finance Manager | North Kent | £45k - £50k

We’re looking for a versatile and proactive Finance Manager to join our client’s successful business in North Kent. You’ll play a key role in our finance department, handling core accounting duties while supporting wider business functions. The ideal candidate will be confident managing day-to-day financial operations and comfortable taking ownership of tasks that may expand over time.

Key duties will include -

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Complete VAT returns across all group companies
  • Produce quarterly management accounts
  • Manage purchase ledger and supplier reconciliations
  • Oversee credit control and insurance of credit accounts
  • Produce cash flow forecasts and monitor variances
  • Reconcile control accounts and bank accounts (including USD and Euro)
  • Assist with stock control and inventory adjustments
  • Maintain records for government surveys
  • Prepare audit files and assist with year-end financial statements
  • Post accruals, prepayments, and lease-related entries
  • Liaise with external suppliers and professionals
  • Manage cost projection spreadsheets for business projects
