Cobb & Jones Recruitment are recruiting a Finance Systems Business Partner on a 12 Month FTC, based between Mid and West Kent. This role offers flexible, hybrid working and will be suitable for those who are available immediately or coming to the end of a contract. You must have experience of systems implementations to be considered.
The Finance Systems Business Partner is a key position within the finance team of this large, complex Group. This role is expected to fully support the Head of Department in managing the implementation and smooth integration of our new billing system, supporting all end users throughout the transition phase and post implementation.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all processes are captured, documented, followed and are in accordance with relevant compliance regulations.
- Become a subject matter expert in the new system, support and deliver training to all end users.
- Ensure data migration from existing systems is accurate and complete.
- Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout pre and post system implementation, providing guidance and recommendations for resolution of any issues as they arise.
- Support the billing and funding teams in the phase 1 transition of data and processes from old to new systems as they work in parallel for 3 months ensuring the information is accurate and imported in bulk.
- Support the Phase 2 transition for cash allocations and credit control into the new system.
- Any ad-hoc tasks that arise.
- Knowledge of AP and AR processes (from a management perspective).
- Experience in reconciling large data sets.
- Understanding of nominal and debtor ledger.
- Supervisory experience.
- Intermediate - advanced excel skills.
- Experience of implementing new processes and procedures.
