We are exclusively working with our PE backed client who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to their growing team as the business grows and increases its industry presence. They are a company that prides themselves on having a fantastic company culture and are looking for someone who is commercially minded who can build strong relationships within the business.

Key Duties for this role include:

  • Monitoring the day to day financial operations for the group with overall responsibility for invoicing, payroll and expenses
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and provision of commentary
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and division heads to review projects and provide financial analysis
  • Provide support to department heads to ensure budgets remain on track
  • Ensure financial accounting, controls and reporting are developed and documented
  • Support system implementation across wider business
  • Whilst there are no direct line management responsibilities for this role, you will supervise other members of the team
  • Overseeing of VAT, corporation and expense tax calculations
  • Liaise with external parties in completion of tax, audit, banking and private equity reporting.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be commercially minded and thrive in an organisation that is growing and changing
  • Be able to build strong business relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and always be looking to add value
  • Experience working for a private equity business is desirable but not essential
