An excellent opportunity has arisen in Mid-Kent, to join the finance team for a successful global business as a Financial Accountant.
You will be a qualified accountant who has experience in statutory accounting and financial controls.
The organisation is working on a hybrid basis with typically 2 days a week in the office and 3 days working from home.
The main duties will include
- Statutory accounts preparation for multiple entities.
- Intercompany reporting.
- Group accounts and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries.
- Hedge accounting and reporting.
- Posting and maintenance of leases in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Maintaining a strict controls process to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Posting of tax entries.
- Assessment of technical accounting measures as they arise and implementation of any new accounting standards.
- Support finance team with closing out of any Internal Audit matters.
- Provide support to foreign subsidiaries with any technical accounting issues.
- Ad hoc projects /tasks as required.
Role Requirements
- Experience in Financial Accounting including statutory accounts, Audit background would be ideal.
- You will be either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- You will have technical accounting skills.
- You will have excellent Excel skills.
