You’re an MRTPI planner with strong knowledge of the UK planning system and experience in city-centre living, regeneration or comparable development projects.
You’ve also built a credible network across the property and development sector. You know how to turn professional relationships into trusted advice, new instructions and repeat work.
Now, you’re ready for more influence over your clients, projects and the direction of the consultancy around you.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll take ownership of live instructions across residential, commercial, regeneration, employment and strategic development.
That means leading planning applications and pre-application work, advising clients on strategy and development potential, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing projects through to determination.
But this isn’t a role where you’ll be confined to project delivery.
You’ll have the freedom to build your own network, develop opportunities and become a long-term adviser to your clients. You’ll strengthen established relationships, identify new prospects and help convert conversations into new and repeat instructions.
You’ll also contribute to fee proposals, tenders and the consultancy’s wider business development activity.
The commercial side matters. So does your ability to deliver sound planning advice. If you enjoy both, you’ll have the scope to make a visible contribution here.

You’ll join a streamlined, relationship-led planning consultancy based in Sheffield, with hybrid working.
