Cobalt is partnering with an established real estate investment business to recruit an Asset Manager for its Commercial Real Estate team.

Opportunities are available in both Leeds and Manchester, offering the chance to manage a varied commercial property portfolio within a collaborative environment.

The role

As Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of a commercial property portfolio, working closely with internal teams and external advisers.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing lease events including rent reviews, renewals and break options.
  • Overseeing the marketing and letting of vacant properties.
  • Coordinating refurbishment projects and dilapidations.
  • Supporting acquisitions through inspections and due diligence.
  • Maintaining accurate property information within the management system.
  • Preparing reports and recommendations to support asset management decisions.

Skills And Experience

  • Working knowledge of commercial asset management or a related property discipline.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience managing landlord and tenant matters.
  • Working knowledge of lease events and commercial property legislation.
