This is a broad and commercially focused role offering exposure to agricultural, residential and strategic land interests, with the opportunity to play a key part in shaping long-term asset strategy whilst managing day-to-day estate operations.

You will be responsible for the management and optimisation of a substantial mixed-use land portfolio, ensuring assets are professionally managed, income is maximised and opportunities for long-term value creation are identified and delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing agricultural holdings, farm business tenancies and residential property interests
  • Leading rent reviews, lease events, renewals and tenant negotiations
  • Handling landlord and tenant matters and estate management issues
  • Managing health & safety, compliance and property inspections
  • Overseeing external agents, consultants and contractors
  • Resolving land ownership, boundary, access and title matters
  • Supporting strategic asset management initiatives and development readiness
  • Building strong relationships with tenants, stakeholders and local authorities
  • Mentoring junior team members and promoting best practice across the portfolio

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:

  • MRICS and/or FAAV qualification
  • Approximately 5+ years' post-qualified experience
  • Strong rural estate management and agricultural property experience
  • Excellent knowledge of agricultural tenancies, landlord and tenant matters and UK property legislation
  • Experience leading rent reviews and tenant negotiations independently
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance short-term income generation against long-term asset value
  • Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to work autonomously and make informed decisions

This is not a traditional landed estate role. The portfolio sits largely on the urban fringe and offers a unique blend of rural estate management, strategic land and commercial asset management.
