An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially aware planning professional to join a growing and dynamic planning team working on high-profile strategic development projects across the UK. This role would suit either: a Senior Planner looking to broaden their experience and take on greater responsibility; or a Planner with 2–3 years’ experience seeking the next step in their career progression.

The successful candidate will work primarily across Strategic Land projects, with additional exposure to Reserved Matters applications and Regeneration schemes. The role offers the chance to contribute to complex and rewarding projects, while working alongside experienced planning professionals in a collaborative environment.

The Role

  • You will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects including:
    • New settlements.
    • Major urban extensions.
    • Strategic employment proposals.
    • Regeneration and mixed-use developments.

The position will involve leading and managing planning projects, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and supporting the wider team in driving projects forward from promotion through to delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Applicants should demonstrate:
    • Experience within a planning consultancy, developer, local authority, or similar environment.
    • Strong understanding of the UK planning system.
    • Experience leading or managing planning projects.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
    • A proactive and commercially minded approach.
    • MRTPI qualified (or working towards qualification).
