I am currently recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of an NHS MRI Unit Fit-Out project in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager with experience delivering healthcare, medical, or highly regulated fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of site activities and subcontractors Ensuring health safety compliance across the project Coordinating trades and managing project programmes Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings Liaising with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders Managing quality control and site documentation Ensuring works are delivered in line with NHS and project requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fit-out projects Previous healthcare, NHS, MRI, CT, or clinical environment experience desirable Valid SMSTS Valid CSCS Card Current First Aid at Work Certificate Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage programmes and subcontractors effectively Opportunity: 5-month contract on a high-profile NHS project Opportunity to work on a specialist healthcare fit-out scheme Immediate interview availability for suitable candidates If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please apply with your latest CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
