Keen to advance your career in the wider development sphere? As a Planner or Graduate Planner (experience dependent) in a property consultancy, you could accelerate your development with close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, consulting on major projects in London and across the UK.
With a well-established team in London, you could put your stamp on landmark schemes only available to national property consultancies with a wider service offering versus pure planning consultancies. This national property consultancy has an enviable roster of historic clients so you could take the lead on major projects for household names, as you progress towards a senior position.
In this role you would have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of projects across the residential and commercial sector; from tall mixed-use towers in central London, the latest industrial, logistics and data centre projects in the surrounding regions to strategic urban extensions across the UK.
A competitive compensation package is available, including a discretionary performance related bonus and generous benefits. Employees also enjoy regular local and company-wide socials, sports and charity events.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing major projects and overseeing smaller development management processes, and assisting senior colleagues on more major developments.
- Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
- Managing pre-application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
- Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.
Ideally, you should possess:
- Minimum 2 years of professional planning experience within consultancy, developer or local planning authority (LPA).
- A strong skill set and expertise in development management.
- Ideally working towards your RTPI APC, recently submitted or MRTPI.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
In return for your dedication, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, ongoing training, and the opportunity to be part of an exceptional team and company that fosters career progression. Here, the focus is on the quality of your work output rather than strict working hours.
