Cobalt are delighted to be supporting a Pan-European Industrial and Logistic Investment Manager on the appointment of an Investment Associate to join their team in London. Due to a number of successful transactions, this is a growth hire.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Head of Investment on acquisitions across the UK and Europe and across a range of industrial and logistic assets.
- Producing detailed Excel analysis to underwrite a diverse range of commercial and alternative transactions across the UK.
- Collaborating with internal colleagues – with clear and precise communication skills being essential.
- Involvement in wider business decisions and investment meetings connected to transactions and active asset management activities.
- Preparing comprehensive reports for the investment committee to promote investment activity.
Key experience required:
- At least 3-4 years of experience in an Analyst/Associate role.
- Strong bespoke financial modelling skills.
- Relevant Buy-side experience in Private Equity and Real estate investments preferred.
- High commercial acumen.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills alongside writing investment memos.
- Experience working with industrial and logistic assets across the UK and Europe.
- Property/Real Estate specific qualification preferable.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills and confidence / gravitas, especially in external meetings.
- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Proven real estate experience, within either a principal side or leading advisory environment within Industrial Capital Markets.
